West Face of Sukakpak

The west face of Sukakpak in the morning, with the ice climbs clearly visible. The ice on Sukakpak forms from the snow fields higher up. Good conditions require enough snow to feed the thin lines, an active freeze-thaw period, and temps above the Arctic Circle warm enough to climb.
