With a 60m rope, you can go all the way to the sandy valley below the first rap instead of downclimbing the slightly tricky slot/gully from the base. However, it is advisable to rap straight down to the valley floor instead of going first to the canyon bottom and then down the gully, as you are likely to get your rope stuck that way and will just have to climb back up the gully to free it.
