Beautifull mountain , isolated and little attended in reason of long approach. The view from the top to the Matterhorn's Western wall is fantastic . The climb is varied and , some pitches on the final ridge , also rather delicate and exposed. Also the way down by SW side's normal route presents short and delicate cliffs in reason of the snow conditions .
"After the first glass, you see things as you wish they were. After the second, you see things as they are not. Finally, you see things as they really are, which is the most horrible thing in the world."
--Oscar Wilde on Absinthe
