This is one of my all-time favorite mountains to climb, from a personal and philosophical perspective. Its so staggeringly otherworldy, so generally-unappealing, so rugged yet so close, and just so much spicy fun on that abysmal breccia...I'll never forget the moment I first laid eyes upon this crumbling castle from Brooks Lake Creek Falls Campground (so many water adjectives!). Thanks for reminding me of why I do this in general, and why I loved this mountain.
