I'm planning to head out here next month and was browsing SP to find some relatively easy summits... your descriptions are much appreciated. I can also relate all too well with the frustration of seeing parents acting irresponsibly by setting their children loose in these settings.

Will do. I'm actually planning to do Silica Dome as the day's other outing - looked at Gibraltar and while it was intriguing, I'll be going with someone of lesser ability and I don't think she'd be up for it! Thanks for the rec, though :)
