This is the first white bighorn I've seen. We were on the Lost Creek route to North Peak (class 4) when these fellows blew by us like we were standing still.

Hasn't voted | Red Rock Canyon west of Las Vegas. The rocks are very similar to those in Zion -- mostly formed from sub-areal dunes with cross-bedding. It's the Aztec vs. the Navajo sandstone, but they are correlative in many ways. | | Posted Sep 27, 2012 8:07 pm |
