white lamb with normal bighorns

white lamb with normal bighorns

This is the first white bighorn I've seen. We were on the Lost Creek route to North Peak (class 4) when these fellows blew by us like we were standing still. Sorry about the blurriness -- the camera has a small lens, the light was low, and my right hand is partly paralyzed.

So Precious!

That's Amazing! I've never seen a white bighorn in Red Rocks or anywhere else. Great family photo!

Wonderful sighting

Where is this North Peak? Reminds me of Guardian Angels.

Re: Wonderful sighting

Red Rock Canyon west of Las Vegas. The rocks are very similar to those in Zion -- mostly formed from sub-areal dunes with cross-bedding. It's the Aztec vs. the Navajo sandstone, but they are correlative in many ways.
