White Mountain, early April 2004, this photo was taken on day four of our five day trip, 24 hiking miles in with the peak in view, hoping to summit, yet overcome, we had to turn around, the snow was beginning to get knee deep in areas, my water had frozen, and the approaching blizzard was getting worse, prudence said to get out of there.
