A pleasant ramble  Sucess!

Up the ridge like feature on the SW side with some minimal scrambling and directly down through the "cliffs" from the summit cairn.

Wandered east and west along the escarpement for super views of Whitehorse Canyon, Pueblo, Steens, the Trouts and more.

There is another possible candidate for the true summit. 300 Metres east of the large summit cairn is an overturned wooden tripod and a USGS survey monument. May altimeter gave the same reading as at the cairn. The coords given by the page owner correspond to the eastern high point.

Statuesk  Sucess!

I know this isn't a word but there is just nothing else to describe me at the summit...

New area to see  Sucess!

We started the morning off with a quick venture to the summit of Flagstaff Butte. Immediately following this we drove NE to Willow Creek and Whitehorse Butte's south slopes. The hike was mundane, but the incredible view of Whitehorse Creek Canyon inspired us to hike out there the next morning and see the canyon instead of driving out to Stevenson BM.
