With low (but not zero)...
With low (but not zero) visibility on top, I made the decision to continue south along the ridge. I saw the last hikers this day just south of the summit and would enjoy 30-120 foot visibility, 40 mph winds, and freezing temps while traversing the ridge over Mount Lincoln and Little Haystack. Overall, many New Englanders would consider these conditions quite nice! December 28, 2001.
