Introduction
Around the world mountains usually present a face that requires more technics and more will to climb (north face of Eiger, south face of Aconcagua...) than its other faces or ridges.These faces have been a genuine challenge and achievement for the first climbers, and for all mountaineers that have tried to ascend them since then.
For example in Europe we have the Alpine trilogy : Grandes Jorasses, Eiger and Matterhorn.
This album presents only Faces that required some real tough climbing unlike, for example, the north face of Barre des Ecrins.
