I AgreeIf the road has been there forever and is established, let these crazy guys continue to entertain us hikers with these wild stunts! What fun to watch! Would you spend thousands of dollars on a vehicle, only to take it up in the mountains, beat it up, possibly strand yourself and pay thousands more to get out, fix the vehicle and do it all over again? The things folks do for entertainment!
The drawback is the noise and pollution. But again, keep it here rather than close the road and spread it elsewhere. If Yellowstone was closed to snowmobiling, what would be the next spot to sacrifice? Como Road was built for 4 wheeling and it should remain so-unless you have a favorite spot of BLM land you'd like to give up...
