Re: Not a happy Christmas?

The rifugio at Cerro San Lorenzo is called "Toni Rohrer". Toni was a swiss climber that died when trying to climb the ice mushroom at the very top of Cerro San Lorenzo. The ice mushroom collapsed and Toni fell down the westface about 2000meters. His wife watched the scene from some distance and she returned from the mountain alone.
She placed an album with many pictures in memory of Toni inside the refugio. Heiko is watching that sitting opposite to me.
It´s a strange feeling beeing confrontated with death of somebody who had the same goal that you have.
Maybe that´s been the cause for worries?

Re: Not a happy Christmas?

There´s nothing wrong. You catched those emotions right from the picture and couldn´t know the story behind ;>)
