Young Estero Marmolejo

Already at this point, close to the glacier, the Estero Marmolejo carries considerable quantities of sediments. Confusingly, the Estero Marmolejo is not fed by the Marmolejo Glacier, a small portion of which can be seen high up to the right, but mainly by the glacier seen here, coming down from Punta Italia (4863m) and Cortaderas (5197m). 03/05/2010 13:57:37
