| Long ridge all the way to Flatiron. Was gonna hit Confluence & Nutcracker but was running short on time. Desolation Peaks really chocked my time down. Great day!!! | |

| Beautiful day without a cloud in the sky! Gained the ridge at the start and a fun climb up. Had to drop down ~200 ft about a 1/3 of the way up to avoid some technical climbing, but it appears you can make this ridge as difficult as you want. Overall, some easy 4th class moves with some 3rd class scrambling. | |

| Wonderful hike and a terrific afternoon with amazing views and lots of wildlife. On top of Chapin be sure to head back west and look down at the spires. Be careful not to descend to much on the way back from Ypsilon in order to pick up the trail between Chiquita and Chapin. | |

| Peak 3 of 8, did a variation of "Mummy Mania" we dubbed "Mummy Masochism" because we tacked 2 bushwhack 11ers on to the end. Appx 19 miles, 7000 vertical - climbed Chapin, Chiquita, Ypsilon, Fairchild, Hagues, Mummy, Tileston and Bighorn. | |
