"Any butterflies in there?"

Cave of the Winds is a limestone cave in the Pikes Peak region of Colorado. It's located just west of Colorado Springs on US Hwy 24, near Manitou Cliff Dwellings. The cave was a setting for "ManBearPig," a 2006 episode of the animated television series South Park. The main characters are trapped in the cave by a rockfall caused by Al Gore firing a SPAS-12 while trying to get Manbearpig. This cave photo comes courtesy of Erme Mack of AZ. the single biggest threat to our planet

There’something out there which threatens our very existence and may be the end to the human race as we know it. I'm talking of course, about... "butterflies" . They’re creatures which roam the earth alone. Some people say that butterflies aren’t real. Well, I'm here to tell you now, butterflies are very real, and they most certainly exists! I'm cereal... Butterflies doesn't care who you are or what you've done. Butteflies simply wants to get you!
So be safe and watch out for Butterflies.
Trap them in a cave, close off all the exits and fill the cave with hot molten lead
I’m super cereal...

;-) :D :D :D

Re: the single biggest threat to our planet

I have no problem with butterflies ruling the world. I'm sure they will preserve the environment a lot better than us humans. Hi Barb,

Re: the single biggest threat to our planet

hey there Marc :)

I was following Larry's joke. I just quoted what Al Gore said about the "manbearpig" replacing it with "butterflies"...that was one funny South Park episode!!

(PS:I loved your new profile pic and recent submissions. You have a nice day)

Re: the single biggest threat to our planet

Hey Barb, I know you were kidding about the butterflies. You write with such eloquence it's easy to take it all seriously, but I know you also joke around a lot. Nothing I like more than humor, especially since I desperately lack it myself. And, Larry, he is kidding all the time.
Thanks Barb for the compliment on my new submissions. I couldn't be happier you like them.
Marc
p.s. Sorry Larry, Barbara and I are using your page to chit chat.

Apoligy accepted! I KNOW there will always be
debates/disagreements in regards to our
natural world. I was just making some fun.

I suggest every SP-member read Mark Twain's
poetry, and LAUGH at themselves when they
wake up from a night on the town ... or a
night in a cave ... or a night well spent
perched on a precipitous cliff or crag.

LOL - glad to hear you understood that I was
only joking around, as usual.

Re: the single biggest threat to our planet

Caves are fun to crawl inside,
And they offer a world of possibilities.
Sometimes my smiles I cannot hide,
Lighting the dark can open many opportunities!
