1st pitch

The first real pitch. I call it real because there are 2 small water falls below this one, which you can climb. We climbed those on our first visit, but our second visit at Dexter Slabs offered very warm conditions, and we just walked by those. The 1st pitch is rated WI3, and is about 35 meters long. There is a more mellow ice slope above it, offering many good spots for setting up an anchor. You need to place screws in for the anchor.
