A big and agreable shelter at the Kohlberg ...
The Kohlberg is hiding tree very deep and big rocky shelters, which are regulary frequented by the wild pigs (those ones are very numerous here, at the Kohlberg, which is a very isolated and savage site ! ). This picture is showing you the southern rocky shelter, that the Kohlberg is posseding : it's from all the tree, the most agreable and comfortable, the easiest to reach ! The two others, which are situated on the northern face, are more dark and humid, less good to live (they are very often exposed at the wind) ; but, the most important and spectacular shelter of the Kohlberg is located on the northern face (he's having something like 15 meters length, 8 meters deepth and almost 4 meters height ! ). So, today is the site of the Kohlberg, considerated as one of the most remarkable rocks for his rocky shelters, all over the Northern Vosges area !
