A big cairn shows the way on the trail to Maparaju
Coming from Quebrada Cayesh, there are many cow paths more or less heading in the right direction. Some just faded away, and then I made my way though the bushes until I found another. A little bit higher on the slopes, the vegetation got thinner, and at a prominent point, this big cairn was visible from far away. After that, I had no more route finding problems up to the glacier. Often, the path was quite clear, and higher up, in the talus, a few cairns helped where it wasn't.
On the way back down, I could follow the right trail from this cairn. It was much easier going. If you happen to be there, starting in Quebrada Cayesh, keep to the right as much as possible.
