A dry avalanche coming down...
A dry avalanche coming down the flanks of Jungfrau towards west. I was snowshoing up the opposite slopes south of Stechelberg, direct distance maybe 3 or 4km. The avalanche started at the edge of the glacier above and went down a distance of over 1000metres. It was a really impressive sight and sound. Taken on 8th January 2005.
