A good marked and known site ...
For going to the Rödelstein, over Vorderweidenthal, there's a good marked path. The local " Pfälzerwaldverein " has so, established and created a marked forestian way, for reaching easily enough, the southern climbing walls. The site is very good known, by the extreme climbers and boulders, scramblers ! Here, on the Rödelstein, you will find climbing routes, with difficulty and technicity levels understanding between 1 and 10 ... The choice is very large, from beginner to expert, it gives all possibilities here at the Rödelstein ! The most difficult climbing ways are situated on the south-eastern extremity and the most easy ones, are located on the western side ... The southern walls are the highest of the site, with a maximal height of exactly 58 meters. As seen from the valley, the site seems to have the forms of a boat, which was crashing himself on the summit of the mountain : the spectacle is extremely picturesque and remarkable to photography ...
