I have a few bear stories, but that goes with the territory in the Canadian Rockies I suppose. I wear my helmet even on trail and use an alpine ax vs a hiking pole even on scrambles. After a friends wife was killed last month in Canmore, I notice my partners following suit. But I have never had a bear show agression towards me yet. Knock on wood.
Great page, full of detailed photos and 2 routes. Thanks Dean!
