Above the clouds

Above the clouds in the morning. Looking down from the east-ridge of Piz Palü towards the shoulder. In the background are the Ortler Alps with the triumvirate Ortler, Monte Zebru and Gran Zebru. We had luck. Nikman and I started early in the morning before the mass came up the route. You can see two climbers on the shoulder.

Weren't you the two men we could see from Marco e Rosa hut on 26 July, tuesday, in the afternoon?
Those two men were heading towards Piz Palü under the seracs of Bellavista.

26th July?! We ascended and descended Palü via East-Ridge.
We had just the weekend free time. We camped at the glacier and did this trip fast enough to get home on the same day.
