Got up at 4am to white out conditions with a bit of wind at the Beetham hut. So we all went back to sleep only to realize two hours later that it was just low fog and it was spectacularly clear skies. We were kicking ourselves about missing our early start but went to climb Malte Brun anyway. Feb 1984
