In fact, only a small part of the Aferer Geisler is visible, because I'm too close to see much beyond the first summit of the ridge.
The trail is clear and easy at this point. It won't stay that way. Soon there will be some very exposed sections, partly secured, and you'll need your hands: this is the Günther Messner Steig.
