GlacierNice shot. Are you sure this is not the Espilet Glacier? It is hard for me to say from this photo but this glacier is probably to the northwest of Alam Kooh. I think I can see the tip of the first Haft Khan Peak in the distance. That makes it the Espilet Glacier. Alam Chal Glacier is to the north and northeast of Alam Kooh.

Re: GlacierHi Nader, when I climbed German's Ridge in 1966 this glacier was called Khersan e shomali Glacier. I have a few shots of it taken half way up the ridge. At some point in time the name must have changed. Do you know anything about that, or is Khersan e Shomali close to this glacier?

All maps that I have seen refer to this as Espilet Glacier. I have noted that locals use names other than what appears on maps, so I would not be surprised if someone called it Khersan e Shomali.
The Khersan Peaks themselves do not have any glaciers to speak of. There is a huge valley to the south of Alam Kooh and east of Khersan Peaks that is called Khersan Glacier. It might have been a glacier in the past but no significant snow remains there anymore at the end of summer.
