Alta Peak Tourist

The views from the summit of Alta Peak are often talked about. No wonder. At the base of the southwest face, I looked up at what I'd committed to. Somewhere underneath all the snow was a trail but I'm glad I went to the top when I did. No one had been there for months and I shared the summit only with the passing bird and a tiny spider.
