...a great trip. And I couldn't agree with you more, Tracy Arm is one of the most spectacular places I have ever seen. I was fortunate enough to get there in 2005. It was a rainy day with low clouds, but still spectacular.
I enjoyed reading this trip report very much; especially having been part way up Mt. Gastineau (had to turn around to make our Taku River Lodge float plane departure). Southeast Alaska is indeed a beautiful place and your trip report indicates you knew how to experience it to the fullest!
