Nice Run!
Surprisingly, I've never been up despite my many trips to Zion and time in the backcountry. Ran up with the fam. The paved portion sucks but once you hit trail it's a blast. Loved the exposure near the top...fun to cruise that stuff at high speeds. Views were awesome as expected.

Fantastic day
We were only able to spend one day in the park and what a better way than by doing Angels Landing in the morning.

The Angel Has Landed
Hiked with Caroline. 1st time for both of us. I don't think I had been to Zion since I was really little. It was super crowded of course but once we made it to the top there was actually nobody there. Great views - great national park!
2nd ascent on 5/25/14 with Meredith! Super crowded Memorial Day but enjoyed a few beers at the top and met a chipmunk named Earl.
3rd with Ashley drunken wine pack and beers at top after St G Marathon on 10/5/14.

Alot Nicer W/O Snow
I was tripping out when we did Angels Landing in March becuase of the snow. Its alot nicer without snow I would have to say (although the scener with snow is top notch). I also did it without the cables! (yeah big whoop I know). Cool summit with steller views.

One of a billion hikers
Just took the simple hiking route. "Simple"...well, yeah, it was steep. Not nearly as crowded as I would've expected; good to be there on a weekday.

Slowly but surely
reminded me of a picture email going around offering a free lunch for anyone reaching the top of some peak somewhere in China??? Pretty cool to see 1000'+ drops on both sides.

Have climbed three times now. Great scramble and nice views. Love the name, too! Don't put your stuff down or the squirrels and chipmunks will eat through your pack!

Amazing Hike
Really enjoyed this hike, a nice difference from my typical Sierra terrain. Perfect weather on the weekend before Thanksgiving. Say hi to the condors.

Excellent Hike
Fantastic weather and a beautiful view. I suffer from a lack of fear of heights so I wasn't even really using the chains to climb and passed a few people on the way up. People in my party thought i was a little nutz.

Angel's Landing
Really fun hike. Thought I'd try doing it without using the chains, but I used them near the top. Starting early lets you beat the heat and crowds.
seems like a lifetime ago We took our 3 month old on a Utah road trip. This was a great hike and I recommend the narrows for a different flavour too.

Awesome views!
While I expected 'company' on the trail... it was way more than I expected. Seemed a bit like an ant-hill - with constant stream of folks up & down.... Still worth the hike... but should have gotten there earlier in the day. :(
