Been here twice, climbed it just once. It was enough for me - a bit scary at the end but the views definitely worth it! Squirrels stole my food while on a little snack break - they were not shy at all!
The pictures I had seen on the web did not convey what was before me...

Its super popular but this will always be one of my favorites.
Began hiking up drunk at 4:20 am with Rafiki and Daniel. On the summit around 5:30 or so and caught an amazing sunrise. Spent over an hour on the summit. Didn't see another hiker until we were halfway down.
Climbed in the morning before the crowds hit. Fixed chains made it easy. Very pretty!
Hiking partner turned around a quarter of the way up when I wasn't looking. Catch it in the morning for a better experience.
I'm sure this route is nice in the summer. With snow, it's not much fun. I had not planned on visiting Zion so I wasn't prepared. It would have been nice to have traction devices. I probably shouldn't have gone all the way to the summit. But it sure was exciting! Trip Report

Impressive views of the canyon and end of day lighting.
This is not a long hike nor hard scramble hike. (I love long and hard scramble hike)
But, this is always one of my favorite hike. The view from the top is one of the best scenary.
One day, we climbed it on the rainy day. It was nice !!
Did it a few years back. One of the few hikes I've done in Utah that my hiking buddy hasn't. After going up to Angel's Landing I continued on to the West Rim before going back down.
One of my favorite spots in the world, love the exposure and scenery!
Love the exposure. I've been up here twice.
Surprisingly, I've never been up despite my many trips to Zion and time in the backcountry. Ran up with the fam. The paved portion sucks but once you hit trail it's a blast. Loved the exposure near the top...fun to cruise that stuff at high speeds. Views were awesome as expected.
06/27/09 Hike with my Bro Jentry and his Wife
05/00/14 Hike with Natasha while visiting Zion with her Mom
Not as crowded as I would have expected for a National Park system hike, and an awesome day to be up there!
Morning trip to Angels Landing, Afternoon to Observation Point
Unseasonably hot for late September.
Pics and commentary here
Awesome view on top!
We were only able to spend one day in the park and what a better way than by doing Angels Landing in the morning.
Hiked with Caroline. 1st time for both of us. I don't think I had been to Zion since I was really little. It was super crowded of course but once we made it to the top there was actually nobody there. Great views - great national park!
2nd ascent on 5/25/14 with Meredith! Super crowded Memorial Day but enjoyed a few beers at the top and met a chipmunk named Earl.
3rd with Ashley drunken wine pack and beers at top after St G Marathon on 10/5/14.
I was tripping out when we did Angels Landing in March becuase of the snow. Its alot nicer without snow I would have to say (although the scener with snow is top notch). I also did it without the cables! (yeah big whoop I know). Cool summit with steller views.
