Another close-up of the upper plateau. On the left, the summit of the Tour Des Jorasses, a enormous rock rampart where, (exp. in the lower section) are locate many interesting modern lines. At the center, the pillar of the Giglione route (Ghiglione/Ottoz, 1948, TD+, V+, 550m. from the glacier), a rarely climbed and difficult line in a remote setting. Just on the right of this (hidden) lies the Supercouloir (Comino/Grassi, 1978, ED2, 5/6, 250m.), the first "big" south facing ephemeral couloir climbed in the massif. The crux of this route are four overhanging pitches of extremely dubious ice.
On the left, you can see the top of the Pra Sec ridge.
