Great stuff

This is really a fine piece of work, boys. I've taken myself off the owner list for the same reason as Nartreb (too many cooks) and plus that way I get to vote on it. Really a monumental page.

Re: Awesome...

Thanks. Your Smokies page isn't exactly small either.

Minor quibble

Mount Greylock is not the highest mountain since the Smokies for northbounders. After the Smokies, one hikes over many, many, many peaks and vast areas far higher than Greylock. For instance, Mount Rogers is north of the Smokies, and stands about 2200 feet higher than Greylock. Even as far north as Shenandoah National Park, a hiker gets to traverse country higher than Grelock by several hundred feet.

Just a very minor point, but one which should be corrected.

Re: Minor quibble

I didn't notice that - and I've been on top of Rogers. I assume that Shenandoah Park is what Big G meant - anyway, that's what I've edited it to say now :)

Re: Minor quibble

That is correct. I got my national parks mixed up. Thanks to both of you for fixing my mistake.

Roan-Unaka Peaks

You all mind if I add some peaks in the Roan Mountain area to this list? Add me as an admin and I'll do so, thanks!

Re: Roan-Unaka Peaks

Fine with me as long as they meet the criterion of having a trail to them from the AT, less than one mile long, but since I gave up my admin privileges on this page (I'm just an editor now), I can't assign privileges any more - one of the others will have to wave a magic wand.
