Just more evidence.....of the that 'mystical' beauty of the Adirondacks. Where is Avalanche Lake specifically?

Yes!Avalanche lake is approximate a 5 mile hike from the ADK lodge trailhead. The pass right next to it, Avalanche Pass, is part of the line that divides the Hudson River/St Lawrence watersheds. Oh and those cliffs in this photo are part of the base of Mt. Colden, a popular high peak. Thanks for the comment!
