At approximately 5400' elevation on the north ridge of Bald Eagle Peak, in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness.
This is the location near where summiters leave the north ridge and begin heading around the east side of the cliffs to reach the small meadow and boulder areas (seen in center-left of photo).
The angled uphill treeline seen on the other side of that area marks the right side of a large hidden gully which leads to the upper ridge of the peak.
