It was snowing in the notch with gale force wind above 3500 feet in the Whites so something lower was called for. This fit the bill. I can see why people rave about the views.

I snickered when I saw this page, but it brought back such early hiking memories I couldn't resist. The views are quite nice.
I did this as a leg stretcher while on a scenic drive through the White Mountains. Very easy.
Fun day to burn an hour. Good hike for when the weather is very indecisive.
