Bald Mountain

This is in Nevada, not all that far from the Sweetwater Summit pass on Nevada highway 388. Nye Canyon is a few miles north of the pass and then that rough road is taken for close to 7 miles where it becomes smart to park and walk. Bald is about 2 miles away in this shot. Mt. Patterson is to the west and Mt. Grant is to the east. This mountain ranks #82 on the Nevada prominence peak list at 9544' high. 6-21-08
