Those winds are

very important in bringing moisture
from the ocean to the Sierra
Nevada and beyond to the Great
Basin of Utah. They can also be
a 'curse' to firefighters trying
to extinquish blazes. A blessing
and a curse upon the land, so to
speak! Excellent photo, Guido!!!
