But

it is very difficult task to observe them...So far I wasn't lucky to have an encounter with the beaver in the Carpathians. But 10 years ago I was lucky to film and help (traped in the sand) the beaver in the Bialowieza Primeval Forest...

Yep, these are night beasts :) Too many of them here around my place in Rzeszow, encountered them a few times walking along the bridge :) and I also could hear them while night hiking back from Sianki to the car left in Bukowiec, their population in whole Poland is rapidly expanding.
