Belska Kocna

The valley of Belska Kočna is not often visited by mountaineers. In the past, one of the reasons, preventing visit was the border between Austria and Slovenia. Today, it's not an issue any more, but those rare paths that are existing, are still not much frequented. And there's so many interesting objectives: scrambles on Mrzla gora and the neighbouring summits, passages towards the central part of the massif and tour skiing in spring. The valley is reached from the road, connecting Jezersko resort with Eisenkappel. This picture is taken from the road over Pavličevo sedlo / Paulitsch Sattel. May 2008.
