Mica Lake approach
Hiked with good friends Heidi Sauerland and Adrienne Hearne on a clear, chilly October day. Encountered snow in Mica Basin, which created for some interesting post-holing over large talus as we ascended to the saddle between Big Agnes and Point 11,777. Straightforward route finding from there. Returned via a more direct, less snowy route towards Mica Lake. Good times!

Favorite mountain of 2010
Another crazy day of driving from Denver at 2am, climbing Big Agnes from Mica Basin, ogling moose, then driving back to Denver to work the next day. I liked this mountain a lot, the glaciated summit of the Sawtooth Range are spectacular.
Climbed Little Agnes and camped at Mica lake the night before. The lake is a great place to relax and fish. Ascended Big Agnes the next morning from the west up through the basin. Great views and weather.

Sawtooth Traverse
Did the Sawtooth Traverse with Jared from Steamboat. Interesting day or several peaks with some interesting 4th class.

From Mica LakeFun Climb! Camped at Mica Lake and went from the lake (10,430) to the summit and back in 2hours! Forgot the camera...
