Black Bear Extreme Close Up

A young Black Bear stares into my remote, heat activated camera, which was strapped to a tree. The flash must have made him mad because I found the camera laying in some bushes about 20 yards off. It was punctured with teeth and claw marks. Watauga Reserve, Stone Mountain. Upper Unakas, Western Blue Ridge Mountains, Cherokee National Forest, Tennessee, USA. July 2007.
