Another Summit
Summited with my 2 dogs on a very windy but still warm day. I'd park at the last Y in the road mentioned by the contributer. From there it's basically straight east up the ridge and then on to the summit. The summit can not be seen from the forest serice road.

Nice Jaunt After Work
The road to the start has a lot of loose softball-sized rocks but wasn't too bad (I drive a Ford Escape). Despite the 97-degree heat, it was actually a very pleasant hike through the juniper.
