Black Mountain from the road...
Black Mountain from the road to the trailhead. The views from the summit are very impressive, despite the hill-like appearence of the summit from below. This is because the peak stands alone. The Freeman Reservoir route basically follows the left hand skyline, but it bypasses the knob on the left.
