Love that place

Hi,
I was wondering if you knew anything about how often this Black Mountain is climbed?
I climbed it twice in 2010; once starting from Salt Wash in March (where salt wash was still flowing and we hiked 6 miles barefoot up salt wash past Caine Spring and black dike arch and camped at the base before climbing it the next morning) and once in May where we parked at the Frying Pan Catchment and descended an unknown slot canyon that dumped us off at the black dike arch on salt wash. Both of our return trips we went up Last Chance Wash and ascended back to the Frying Pan catchment and beyond.
Both times we were here we saw no trace of anybody or anything anywhere which is why I'm curious if you knew if anyone ever climbs this peak?
Thanks

Re: Love that place

I haven't any idea, but all signs pointed to what you surmise-- very little usage. Your routes sound interesting; I might have to look for Black Dike Arch next time-- sounds interesting.
