Black-veined White Butterfly (Aporia crataegi) belongs to the Family Pieridae. It can be found in deciduous forests and mountain meadows in June. Its wing span is 64 mm and the wings have a characteristic black veins. It lays yellow eggs on a Hawthorn, European Mountain Ash and Blackthorn. Catterpillars feed on leaves of these plants.
