mine never did break inI still wear them though. I just prep my heels with duct tape first.

Me too.Mine were the same way. Took about 120 miles to break in. Now they need to be resoled and an eye loop snapped. Might be time to retire them. Lots of bloody heels and I now have large calcium spurs on my heels from them but they got me up many mountains in the last 6-7 years.

Re: Me too.I have the nice "calcium spurs" too. I guess it 's the price you pay for livin' the dream :) Hopefully I can get a few more years out of them though.
