Great page! We need more peak pages for our area like this. What is this climb like in the winter? Other than snowboarding, I am starting to get some cabin fever. It sounds like route finding is an issue with this climb, so I assume it is even harder to stay on track in the winter.

Mtn. Lion spotted near summit today

Just wanted to alert all Blodgett hikers that me and a buddy came within 20 ft. of a mountain lion just below the saddle as we were descending today. It was about 6:45 in the morning and it almost seemed like we surprised him. He was big! Probably weighed 200-250 pounds. He ran into some bushes and just stared at us for several minutes before slinking off into the brush.
