Snout

Given Olympus's diminutive height it is a very impressive glacier. How low is the snout?

glacier?

i was in the lake chelan -sawtooth wilderness, last year and those mountains all exceded 8000', but no glaciers
now there was alot of snow pack well into july, but why glacier?,is because of the wet climate?
