Bluebird Day near the Bearing Sea

Fireweed on a beautiful Alaska Day, Bristol Bay on the Bearing Sea. According to local tradition, Summer is over when there are no more fireweed buds at the top of the stock. So you can tell that when this photo was taken that there was still lots of Summer left!
