Broken Top route
Broken Top route
The summit block of Broken Top, Oregon Cascades. Many people have trouble on this otherwise easy summit.
While you may be tempted, DO NOT GO LEFT. This leads to very hazardous terrain and will NOT get you to the top. You want to go straight up the short chimney, marked in green. As of 2016, there was a nice chockstone in it that you could sling, no pro required. Maybe a 5.1 or 5.2 move, but a bit exposed.
