cool

you've got enough images to fill all of these alaska range pages? impatient to see 'em come up. up until this point, there wasn't as much as a mountain page on SP for the whole Brooks Range!

Brooks Range Photos

I lived in Alaska for 15 years, including 6 years in the Arctic. I just dug up hundreds of slides and saw some for Endicott, Schwatka, Baird, and DeLong Mountains. Time . . .

A little map

would help a lot. Good information already, though.

solid so far

but it feels like you gave up before you were quite finished.
What happened to the Camping section?

An inline map would be big help. Some of the external links might be usefully repeated in the main text where they're most apposit. A few well-chosen photos integrated in the text would make it look really professional.

Re: solid so far

Thanks. I made some of the changes you suggested. Still sifting maps for copyrights.

Charley River?

You have several photographs from the Charley River area and from Yukon-Charley Rivers National Preserve. These areas are in the Mertie Mountains, not in the Brooks Range, and really shouldn't be attached to this page.

Re: Charley River?

Please send me private mail (PM) identifying individual photos and where you suggest they go. No page for Mertie Mtns per se now. You can start one. Then you can ask the individuals who took the photos if that is where they took the photos, and ask them to re-attach them to your page.

Re: windy peak/phillip smith mtns

Don't know. Best to call University of Alaska Fairbanks alpine climbing club, or the land management agency.
